Roma Aeterna is designed with privacy in mind. The app operates almost entirely offline and does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.
We do not collect any personal data.
All historical data (ancient places, routes, and references) is stored locally on your device in an embedded database. This data is included with the app and requires no internet connection to access.
The app connects to the internet solely to load map tiles from Mapbox. This is required to display the interactive map. Mapbox may collect anonymous usage data in accordance with their own privacy policy, available at mapbox.com/legal/privacy.
No other network requests are made by the app.
All app preferences are stored locally on your device using standard iOS mechanisms. This data never leaves your device.
Roma Aeterna does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
